Hello. I’m Sangram(sango). Working as Department Director in Games department since 2016.
Here is a snippet of my background and how I entered this industry.
I completed my Diploma in Animation. My first studio to work with was Paprikaas Animation Studio in 2005 where I was hired as a Jr. Modeler in Gaming Department.
In the early stage of my carrier, I was exposed to a lot of opportunities and had a great chance of working on some of the most interesting projects hands on. The highlight of this period was that I was getting to collaborate with different departments such as Lighting, FX and Texturing team.
I like to think that I’m a fast learner and a good team worker. Knowing that these are my qualities, my management team showed faith in me and I was asked to step up to a role of Lead Artist for a TV show called Back at Barnyard.
The next milestone of my carrier was when I was shifted to Gaming Department in 2009. Here i found myself to be in midst of a variety of projects for mediums like TV, DVD and few movie quality shows. I was also associated with some main game studios like EA Sports where I did a plethora of titles like FIFA, NHL, NCAA and many more. Additionally, I was closely working with EA Tech-team to setup the pipeline and iron out any issues that came during the kick-off stage.
My next venture was to work with the IP Team (Intellectual Property). Here, I was directly working with our Art Director on various creatively-challenging projects including Deep done in 2013.
Currently I’m focusing on the asset development with the Games team along with few TV shows in hand.
On the personal front, I am a photographer by passion. I created few travel documentaries from my personal trips around the country.
